Maybe it's because it's been around for so long, but with all the clones and analogues out there - Cool Water, Aspen, Caribbean Joe, Tres Nuit, Cuba Prestige Black and so on - it's all been pretty much done to death. I do love Aventus and Silver Mountain Water though. After 10 minutes it starts to smell a little "designery". It smells nice but I would never pay this much money for a fragrance that's a little too similar to other designer perfumes on the market.
Green Irish Tweed by Creed is a classic Fougere fragrance. One of the signature scents of the house of Creed, this "walk through the Irish countrywide" is a favorite of many celebrities. The fragrance is rich, fresh, sporty and unforgettable.Back to the review, it starts out with a very strong grass smell and a bit lemon verbena.Unlike those cheap stuff, its lemon verbena is very refreshing but not sharp at all. Extraordinary quality ingredients, very very long lasting (24h ), the sillage is powerful (maybe a tad less powerful than Aventus sillage if i had to compare 2 popular Creed fragrances).
